Grace Dental Clinic
After four years of planning, preparation, and prayer, our ministry opened the Grace Dental Clinic yesterday. The Grace Dental Clinic is staffed by volunteer dentists and hygienists and is open every Friday. Patients pay only $10 and that is to cover administration costs.
As we have been handing out magnets advertising the clinic we have found many people who are looking forward to checking it out. In fact, as of yesterday, the clinic is booked through the middle of June and people are calling for appointments every day. When I visited the clinic yesterday everyone was excited about what was going on. My friend Debbie, who is the receptionist, shared that six teeth had been pulled from different patients and they all went well. She also mentioned the relief she saw on patients faces after those teeth had been pulled.
We look forward to seeing how God will use the clinic to share His love in tangible ways. Through being available to pray and interact with patients we also hope to see God's Kingdom grow!
